I spend much of my time living and working abroad meaning that I embarked on this project with some trepidation. Upon meeting George from Loft Living I was initially impressed with his obvious enthusiasm but also his straight talking advice in terms of what was going to be possible with the space that I had available.

Working against some very stringent timelines and to a project end date that wasn’t negotiable as I had tenants moving in, the team from Loft Living worked efficiently and with the utmost professionalism to deliver a great new space.

The onsite tradesmen were friendly and polite, courteous of our neighbours and worked as tidily as they could. As our project manager, George was always on hand to answer any queries that I had and he regularly provided me with progress updates when I was away.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Loft Living to anyone considering having a loft conversion and have already suggested them to a number of friends.

Loft living have been great from start to finish. Not only did they provide the vision for us when we were purchasing the house, they successfully project-managed the conversion too, producing a finished room to a really lovely standard. Dan and George and their team showed wonderful professionalism throughout, providing regular updates and advice as we went through the process.

They transformed a relatively complex project into bitesize, manageable chunks. We are really happy with the finished room and would willingly recommend them and their services to others.

We were introduced to Loft Living by our architect son-in-law. From our initial meeting with George and Dan we had complete confidence that they understood exactly what our requirements were and kept us informed with regular visits at every stage of the project. All necessary design drawings, building regs. etc. were provided by them.

The works consisted of an additional bedroom, a mezzanine area with roof lights over and various reconfigurations of the existing building. All work was carried out to the highest possible standard, which far exceeded our expectations.

A big thanks to the lads on site Nath, Laurie, Tom and John. Nothing was too much trouble, always polite, punctual and totally reliable and a pleasure to have around. We are delighted with the finished project and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Loft Living to any potential customer.

Loft living have recently completed a loft conversion on our home and we have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone contemplating a loft conversion.

We liked George and Dan from the beginning. They put us completely at ease with what was a large project for us to undertake and after we were introduced to the team we felt confident that we were in good hands. They came across as a very professional and friendly group of people.

From our initial meeting with the Loft Living team, through to the celebration of the completed conversion, we found that the standard of their work was extremely high. George and Dan listened and responded to our requests by designing and installing an outstanding, bespoke space in our loft. The work was delivered on time and throughout the build, the team communicated with us and responded quickly to our queries and requests. We think that this level of communication was key to a good experience of building work, that had potential to be disruptive and stressful.

The entire loft Living team were friendly and reliable and maintained extremely high standards at all stages of their work . From the very first visit Dan and George were the most enthusiastic about the potential of the build and what we could do with the space. George was the only person from the four companies that came to quote who recognised that we would need a water tank system as our house was open plan, and this knowledge of new regs and new techniques carried throughout the build.

Dan our project manager was always on hand, and the build ran according to schedule with a really friendly team. We always knew who was coming and what they would be doing. The guys worked in a very clean way and were mindful of noise and mess. The job they’ve done is outstanding, the space looks great and we couldn’t be happier. We have no issues at all in recommending Loft Living, in fact we already have to several of our friends.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my thoughts regarding our recent Loft Conversion that was carried out by Loft Living.

It is not in my nature to be flattering or flowery, however, I felt it only fair to convey this in writing (feel free to use it in any Marketing Material).

The property is an 1800’s Farmhouse with many original features and therefore needed some careful consideration and planning prior to embarking on a project of this size and nature. Both my wife and I spent many, many months planning for, and talking to Contractors until such a point came that we were comfortable with our choice. I will bullet point our experiences below:

We found Loft Living to be helpful from the outset and prepared to answer some fairly in depth questions about financial standing, previous projects, work methods and materials and accuracy of time scales.

We agreed early on a payment plan that we felt was fair to both parties whilst not exposing any party to significant risk. We insisted on everything being in writing and watertight prior to commencing the project and this included details such as planning issues, building regs, sign off procedure and other relevant details that could impact upon a future sale if we so wished.

I felt that Loft Living had a professional and methodical approach to the project which instilled some early confidence. The Tradesmen that were engaged in the project were pleasant, trustworthy and polite. The work was carried out to a very acceptable standard and Loft Living were amenable to constructive criticism particularly in the latter parts of the project whilst engaged in various ‘snagging’ tasks. The project began on time and finished on time (unusual for the Building Trade).

In short I have no hesitation in recommending Loft Living to anybody that is considering a Loft Conversion and would be willing to talk directly to interested parties as necessary.

Having had various works carried out on my property over the years I have had my fair share of both good and not so good experiences. Thankfully, from day one, my dealings with Loft Living were nothing short of exceptional! We rent our house out and needed a functional space that we could use as an additional bedroom. Through discussing this with the team at Loft Living we agreed upon the design and they provided us with a comprehensive quote.

Deciding to have a loft conversion was one of the biggest financial decisions we have made. It was also a huge change to our home, the structure of our house and hopefully will be a positive transformation to our home life. As I write, there is one minor job left to do, and then it will be goodbye to the skip on the drive and the scaffolding.

When we first looked for a company, out of the four we approached only two contacted us. One was a national company and the other was Loft Living, which is relatively local to us. Of the two, Loft Living provided a lower quote and informed us that they employed their own team, rather than sub-contracting the work. After an initial visit from Dan and George, which was friendly, positive and very informative, they submitted a detailed quote within a few days. We felt they provided a much more personal touch and genuinely listened to us and answered our endless questions. The project started around mid March and has taken almost two months. Dan and George regularly visited during the project to monitor progress, ensure we were happy with the work and to make sure their employees had no problems. We have absolutely no regrets about our decision to proceed with Loft Living.

Our home is fairly modern and the project was deemed to be relatively straightforward. We have had two rooms built in the loft space, but no bathroom. The Loft Living team have been hard working, polite and respectful of our home. The specialist contractors employed have been the same. They have responded to all our requests and adjustments, and have resolved any issues that occurred as a result of the building work. We are very pleased with the new rooms, and the amount of light and space it has brought into our home.

In summary, Loft Living provides a professional service at a very competitive price. Their employees and sub-contractors are polite, approachable and friendly. Whilst a loft conversion can be a lengthy and stressful decision, Loft Living does everything they can to make the process as hassle free and unobtrusive as possible. We would strongly recommend them to anyone thinking of having their loft space converted.
